As of 31 October 2025, the national lottery company TIPOS has achieved one of the strongest results in history, which confirms its stable economic position and social importance. Revenues, levies and support for public benefit activities grew in all key segments. TIPOS thus proves that the state lottery company can be not only economically successful, but also a strategic partner of sports, culture and prevention of risky gambling. At the same time, the national lottery company is strengthening its position in the field of responsible gaming and international cooperation.
Year-on-year, the company's revenues increased to EUR 364.3 million (+8%) and accounting contributions exceeded EUR 63.2 million (+9.4%). Investments in partnerships, sponsorships and donations also grew significantly, increasing by up to 71% compared to last year – to EUR 6.71 million.
At the evaluation press conference of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic, the national lottery company TIPOS presented its financial results for the period January – October 2025. The data clearly confirms the growth trends: the company increased revenues, streamlined operations, and at the same time strengthened the volume of resources directed back to the company.
Revenues from external reporting amounted to EUR 364,318,530, which represents an 8% year-on-year growth.
Accounting contributions increased to EUR 63,264,982, which means an increase of 9.4%. Of this, sports levies from numerical and instant lotteries amounted to €49,723,984, 6.4% more than in 2024.
"The numbers show that the new management of Tipos manages the company professionally and achieves excellent results. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports thus confirmed that it can manage joint-stock companies at least as well as the Ministry of Finance, which managed the national lottery company until 2023. I keep my fingers crossed for Tipos in the coming years, because through its economic success, Slovak sport and culture can also prosper and develop," said Minister of Tourism and Sports Rudolf Huliak.
Social engagement also improved significantly: spending on partnerships, sponsorships and donations rose to €6.71 million, up 71 percent year-on-year. TIPOS thus confirms the strategic role of the state lottery company in financing sports, culture and youth activities.
"The results we are presenting today mean more support for sport, culture, youth and benefits for communities. They confirm that TIPOS is a reliable partner of the state and society and that we can grow responsibly, without losing our emphasis on player protection and transparency. Our ambition in 2026 is to continue developing products, strengthen public investment and be a leader in responsible gaming in Slovakia and internationally," said Ing. Michal Hutník, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of TIPOS.
TIPOS has long been the biggest supporter of Slovak sport. Its help goes to national associations, sports associations, professional clubs, youth programs and individual athletes. It supports a wide range of sports – from hockey, basketball, football and athletics, through tennis, biathlon or cycling to smaller regional projects. The support covers the entire sports spectrum from youth to senior categories and contributes to the development of talents, infrastructure and community life in cities and smaller villages.
TIPOS' strategic partnerships include: TIPOS Slovak Hockey League, support of the Slovak basketball team and league basketball competition, cooperation with the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, Slovak Biathlon Association, Slovak Athletic Association, Slovak Tennis Association, Slovak Cycling Association, Slovak Ball Hockey Union or cooperation with four extra-league hockey clubs – HK Poprad, HK Spišská Nová Ves, HKM Zvolen and HK Dukla Trenčín. TIPOS is also a stable partner of important events, such as the TIPOS P-T-S International Athletics Meeting, the Devín – Bratislava National Run and the International Peace Marathon in Košice, while it also supports the development of sports infrastructure through sports halls such as TIPOS Arena Bratislava or TIPOSBET Arenas in Spišská Nová Ves, Zvolen and Michalovce.
In addition to sports, TIPOS is an important partner of Slovak culture and social initiatives. The support goes to projects that bring value to the community, develop the identity of the regions and make cultural experiences accessible to the general public. The company cooperates with major institutions and festivals, such as the Art Film International Film Festival, the Lúčnica Art Ensemble or regional cultural events and community projects across Slovakia.
A leader in responsible gaming and a major player in the European space
In addition to its economic and social role, TIPOS is strengthening its position as a leader in responsible gaming. The company holds European and international certificates, cooperates with professional platforms and implements public campaigns aimed at preventing risky gambling, protecting young people and raising awareness about safe play.
TIPOS is also an active member of important international initiatives. In 2026, for the first time in history, it will host representatives of all 34 Eurojackpot lottery companies in Slovakia at their General Assembly, confirming its growing credit within the European lottery space.
The company thus enters the coming years as a financially stable company, a strong partner in sports and culture, and a respected leader in responsible gaming in the national and international context.
