Top Team
In an effort to improve the quality of information about the activities of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "Ministry") in the field of sports, your contact person for information about the top team is: Dávid Čihák.
The top team is composed of the best Slovak athletes. These athletes are included in the top team by the ministry according to criteria approved by the minister.
The top team is financed according to Section 75 (4) of Act No. 440/2015 Coll. on Sport and on Amendments to Certain Acts, according to which the Ministry provides an annual allowance to athletes according to the list of top team athletes. A necessary prerequisite for the provision of a financial contribution to the enrolled athlete is a successful opponent of the schedule of his/her sports training (hereinafter referred to as the "HSP"). Opponents of the HSP are carried out by the Ministry through a commission appointed by the Minister.
