Honorary state titles

According to Section 56 of Act No. 440/2015 Coll., the following honorary state titles may be awarded in the field of sport:

"Master of Sports"
"Meritorious Master of Sports"
"A Meritorious Expert in Sports"
"Meritorious worker in sports"

The titles may be awarded by the Minister of Tourism and Sport and Sport of the Slovak Republic for extraordinary sports performances and spreading the good name of the Slovak Republic in the field of sport abroad or for extraordinary merits in the development in the field of sport.
