Study Tourism
The Government of the Slovak Republic will adopt the Sustainable Tourism Development Strategy 2035 for the field of tourism, which will determine specific strategic goals, tools and tasks in tourism. The aim of the strategy is to transform tourism into green and digital with an emphasis on social inclusion, in line with the objectives of the European Union's conceptual documents.
One of the basic objectives is to create conditions for strengthening all forms of education in the tourism sector, the aim of which will be to expand professional competencies in tourism as well as to connect the activities of tourism organizations, professional organizations and secondary vocational schools, including lifelong learning of teachers.
The vision of the Ministry of Tourism is to support education that will prepare graduates of educational fields in the field of tourism, hotel and gastronomy services for the challenges of the modern labor market, which requires not only professional skills, but also flexibility, creativity and continuous improvement.
