At today's meeting of the Government of the Slovak Republic, one of the key topics was the development of tourism and sports in the Kysuce region. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has committed itself to supporting sports activities in the districts of Čadca and Kysucké Nové Mesto in an appropriate way.
At the same time, the Ministry will assess effective forms of support for the development of tourism in this region, with the aim of increasing its share in economic activities in the districts of Čadca and Kysucké Nové Mesto. The ministry thus responds to the need to strengthen the tourist potential of Kysuce and improve conditions for athletes and visitors to the region. At the same time, the government approved more than €1.5 million for municipalities and organizations in Kysuce, while almost €1.1 million will be used by towns and villages in the districts of Čadca and Kysucké Nové Mesto for their projects.
