Minister of Tourism and Sport Rudolf Huliak and Minister of Agriculture of the Slovak Republic Richard Takáč met today with representatives of the Union of Regional Associations of Owners of Non-State Forests of Slovakia in the Chapel in Záblatí in Veľký Rovné.
The Chairman of the Union, Ing. Milan Ovseník, informed the ministers about the situation in which the owners of non-state forests find themselves, the problems they face and the needs to ensure effective management. The possibilities of support for the sustainable development of tourism in nature, which offers huge potential for relaxation and recreation, were also discussed.
The ministers expressed interest in finding solutions that will enable better care for Slovakia's natural wealth, taking into account not only the needs of owners, but also the public, which is increasingly looking for nature as a space for active relaxation and adventure tourism.
